The philosopy of the Rainbow Care Unit is to maintain the highest possible level of functioning and safety among persons with memory loss, special needs, Alzheimer's and related diseases.

When you visit Lakeview's Rainbow Care Unit you'll find a warm, safe and loving environment designed expecially for people in the middle and later stages of memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer's.

Our commitment to caring starts with our team of health care professionals. In addition, individualized care plans are created for each person living in the Rainbow Care Unit ensuring that each resident's personal needs are considered.

Family members are encouraged to visit the Rainbow Care Unit often, and if they choose, they are welcome to attend Family Council.

Based on the resident's past activities, work and volunteer information provided by a loved one, our trained staff will design individual social activities for the resident.
