Another side of Lakeview
There are many departments that work diligently and dutifully every day performing service for our Lakeview family of residents, but some also provide service beyond our campus!
In addition to preparing Three Hundred and Forty meals daily for Lakeview, Maplewood and Woodland Manor residents, our Nutritional Services Program prepares all of the Meals for the Meals on Wheels Program. By 10:45a.m. each day these meals are prepared, boxed, and arranged for each route. At about 11:0 a.m., many community volunteers so generous with their time, come to the designated door, pick up their coolers and are off to their respective routes. The addresses and maps are well laid out by the Meals on Wheels Coordinator, and the process is smooth and seamless!
A new venture starting on Monday will be providing meals for the 40 or so children in the Head Start Program. This is an exciting new endeavor for us!
As you know from previous articles, Lakeview is always willing to work with area churches and families in catering funeral luncheons, and if you need salads or bars for ANY occasion, just call Dru at 507-235-6606.
